Blackburn Basketball have a number of programs for players of all walks of life.
School of Hoops
School of Hoops is a beginner Program for children aged 5-12 to learn the essential skills to play Junior Domestic (Competition) Basketball.
Junior Domestic Basketball
Entering its fifth season, the Blackburn Junior Basketball Club will again be fielding teams in the Eastern Districts Junior Basketball Association (EDJBA). The club dons a white, orange and black uniform, similar to current VJBL uniform.
Home games are played at Slater Reserve, Grosvenor Street, Blackburn North.
The summer season will run from the beginning of term 2, 2017 until the end of term 3, 2017. Juniors from Under 9 to Under 19 are invited to register.

Junior Representative Basketball
Blackburn Vikings currently have 26 representative teams in the Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL). The VJBL is the highest level of junior competition in the state of Victoria.
In order to try out for state and beyond, players must play for a VJBL team. Representative try outs information can be found here. Teams generally train once or twice a week and have access to high levels of coaching. Players from a number of domestic clubs come to play representative basketball for Blackburn Vikings.
Junior representative basketball opens a career path for players with the ability to play at the highest junior level. It also allows them the opportunity to participate in Tours to the USA which has become a regular feature of the program and the opportunity to progress through to the Senior ranks in the state wide Big V competition.
